suggest not to repair in dealer if warranty expired. they usually repair things which is not broken but just aged. parts cost almost double compared with normal bmw original OEM parts
two yrs ago, my e70 also showed pullover warning when the water pump dead. i drove and stopped several times (make sure the engine would not overheat) to my mechanic and replaced the pump at $2700 labor+parts
